For the past 15 years, Misha van der Winkel has released a great deal of music, mostly under the name PCM / Pitch Controller Mitch and as member of the Birdhouse collective. He has written and produced music for many artists including Pete Philly, Alain Clark, Eva Lazarus, Rilan & The Bombardiers, JU-LIA and Lorrèn.

In 2020 Mischa embarks on a new adventure; sharing his stories, melodies and energy under a new moniker, Shamis, meaning bright/sunlit. The first single of this endeavour is titled, “Believe.”

“Believe" portraits the bigger picture in life, to overcome the dualistic mind state, to understand that we create with our thoughts and minds and that our belief system shapes our perception.
